No. BL-PLM · Nexo PLM
A full PLM in Python — no license, no cloud.
Commercial PLMs are expensive, rigid and oversized for mid-market industry — which ends up managing products, revisions, engineering changes and contracts in spreadsheets and network folders. Nexo was born inside a real steel fabrication company to be the single source of engineering information, on a 100% open stack: Django, React and PostgreSQL, running on your intranet.
What already works
From the BOM to the shop floor
Real change management
PR, ECR, ECO, ECN and DCO with a validated workflow and a visual graph of each item's life cycle — the rigor of the big PLMs, without their price tag.
Multi-level BOM
Alternates and AML, where-used and a 3-column layout: tree, 3D viewer and properties side by side, the way engineering likes to work.
3D CAD in the browser
Asynchronous STEP/IGES to GLB conversion — a 35 MB model spins live on screen, with no plugin and no license.
Drawing vault
SHA-256 deduplication and an approval flow (In progress → To check → To approve → Released → Obsolete), replacing the network folder.
Connected production
A 12-stage planned vs. actual pipeline, kanban, OTD and lead time KPIs, and a TV dashboard for the shop floor.
100% local AI
7 built-in AI agents — inventory analysis, service life, documents and an executive copilot — with no data ever leaving the intranet.
The system in use
Nexo on screen
Screens from the real system, with every piece of data replaced by fictional stand-ins: customers, contracts, products and people. No customer information appears here.
Trial by fire
Migrated with real data, not a demo fixture
Nexo's importer has already pulled 6,112 tasks, 17,201 history records, 42 projects and 350 attachments out of a production Redmine instance in industry — idempotently: running it again duplicates nothing. That's how you test a PLM: with the company's own past inside it.
An honest status: Nexo is under active development and in internal use — it is not a product for sale yet. It's here because it shows the level of system Bueno Labs builds, and because tomorrow it could be the PLM running your operation. Interested? Let's talk.
